Everything you own or once owned has a story. That's why we're bringing you an exclusive collection of such stories from seniors all over Singapore.

Time Traveller, an initiative by Ageless Online, is an online scrapbook/museum featuring everyday objects belonging to these seniors who want to share what these treasured items mean to them – from a happy incident in their childhood to a bad experience during the war. It is a chance for them to recall that vivid memory, to capture it here, and for others to time-travel with them and learn something new, something forgotten.

Some of these items have been passed down to their children and some others are still stashed away in a room or hidden behind other things. If the owner passes on, it is likely the object will find itself homeless, unbeknownst that once it used to be treasured by someone. However, here at Time Traveller, all objects will forever hold its significance, no matter if time passes on. The items need to be at least from 20 years or older to be featured, and will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

This is a great opportunity for youths of today to see some of the past objects and the stories behind them and the values these seniors have, and for those older ones, a chance to reminisce. It is also a wonderful site for those who have dementia. As of presstime, one of the objects on the site is being loaned long-term to one of the museums.
